Current Tires

After online research and visiting tire stores to see the different tires for myself, I replaced the stock BFG Rugged Trail tires, which had no traction whatsoever in mud and snow, with the original size: 265-70-R16.

I had a pretty solid 21mpg on my 3.4L 4WD Tacoma with the BFG's and found that the mileage has dropped to about 19 or maybe 20 mpg. If gas mileage was a primary concern, however, I would have bought a Prius.

Rain and mud traction is excellent; performance in snow has been extraordinary. I've used 4-wheel drive much less this winter than ever before.

The sound level at all speeds is about the same as the Bridgestones. You can hear the tires, but its not intrusive.

I would definitely buy these tires again.
